Na Beryl Fohtung Fofung has officially taken over as President General of Nkumu Fed Fed, a leading women’s empowerment NGO in Cameroon. Her investiture followed her election during the organization’s 29th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on April 26, 2025. The ceremonial handover was held on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the Nkumu Fed Fed annex office in Bamenda.
Outgoing President General Eunice Tita Tata, now serving as the First Adviser to the new executive, encouraged the incoming team to remain resilient and mission-driven despite prevailing challenges.
“To the new team, I say this: being daring does not mean you are without fear, it means fear does not control you. When we took office in 2019, there was fear, but we didn’t let it stop us. Be courageous, dedicated, focused, and genuine in your service,” she advised.
The event drew notable stakeholders, including Emmanuel Anjonga, North West Regional Coordinator of UN Women, who lauded Nkumu Fed Fed as a dynamic and results-driven force for gender equality.
